I’ve spent most of my life in the flooring industry, growing up around the trade and ultimately building a career in it. Installation isn’t just what I do—it’s what I know. I take pride in helping transform houses into dream homes, and throughout my time as an installer, I developed a strong attention to detail and a commitment to getting every aspect just right. Those same standards continue to guide me in my current role. Outside of work, I enjoy a slower pace of life. I have two dogs at home who keep things lively, and whenever I can, I take the opportunity to go scuba diving. Whether it’s exploring new environments or spending time with friends and family, I value making the most of my time both on and off the job.

Nelson began his career in the flooring industry in 1988 as a salesperson with New York Carpet World in the metro Toledo area. Over the years, he gained hands-on experience in sales, customer service, collections, and managing installation crews and sales teams. With expertise in nearly every type of flooring except nail-down hardwood, he has built a strong foundation in the industry. Since 2013, Nelson has worked with Lowe’s through an installation company, enjoying the collaboration with Lowe’s associates, installers, and customers. Now, he proudly serves as the Installation Manager for the Northwood, Ohio location. Outside of work, Nelson has been with his spouse since 1994 and enjoys gardening and working out. His experience, leadership, and commitment to quality make him a valuable asset to the Keller Interiors team.
